Ex-Twitter CEO and COO Set to Start with a $200M VC Fund

The two former Twitter CXOs are leveraging their old job titles to give advice and capital to entrepreneurs.

As reported by Axios, ex-twitter Dick Costolo and COO Adam Bain have started an advisory and investment firm: 01 Advisors. They have already secured a funding of $134.7 million for their inaugural fund, which is aiming for a total of $200 million.

The two former Twitter CXOs are leveraging their old job titles to give advice and capital to entrepreneurs.

The former COO Bain has been accredited with building and launching Twitter’s advertising business.

Both the executives are now headed to formalize their consulting efforts with the newly garnered fund.

Monetizing upon their previous experience at a quickly growing startup is going to prove smart and successful, as it is being anticipated. This new startup will set an example of another venture firm coming into existence offering more than the capital as the duo is likely to add their Twitter experience to the startup.
